I am French, I was born and raised in Paris and I now live in SANTA MONICA.
I studied music at the Paris conservatory when I was a kid. I came to Los Angeles early Eighties after a couple of bad recording deals in France and a lot of "BS" hoping for a change ??? Anyway...
I did put together 6 Bands:
THE DEANERS (punk deluxe)
SHADOW BANISTER (pop rock)
ZAVE (Solo project, POP with Rock flare)
JUST LIKE THAT (funk pop)
HEADSANDWICH (heavy funk-ROCK )
SAHA LOOP EXPERIENCE (pop electronica)
I was the proud owner of a recording studio called "Eurosound" in the early 90's in North Hollywood where I produced tons of different stuff, but you know what? That was yesterday. Let's talk about the present ... and the future.
Present: I am a Pro Guitarist and Bass player and lately I developed a real taste for Hand Drumming, EX Musician's union member ( ooops, I forgot to pay my dues), I read some, I produce well, I use Cubase, Wavelab, Acid, PC software(I am still European I guess)... I am a sound engineer. Too much BLABLA, let's move on.
Future: I am here for a good time, working with "real talents" and producing great music... BOTTOM LINE...

NOW I am older and I am more soulful, I play BLUES mainly (SRV and Hendrix are still my favorites), most of the other guitar playing styles come from BLUES anyway, I can't go wrong, I don't play fast anymore (well, sometimes), I try to play right. Then if you play Country, Pop, Rock (not heavy metal I am so done with that!), Funk, R&B, even Disco... Whatever, if it is good, I am in! ... If it ain't FUN, I ain't doin' it!
